Terms and Conditions – Trade Fair Competition “Smart Connect 5.1”

§1 Organizer of the Competition

The organizer of the competition is Canton Elektronik GmbH + Co. KG, Neugasse 21–23, 61276 Weilrod, Germany. It is expressly stated that this promotion is in no way connected to Facebook or Instagram and is in no way sponsored, supported, or organized by Facebook/Instagram. Facebook/Instagram assumes no liability for this competition. The recipient of the information provided by participants is not Facebook/Instagram but solely Canton Elektronik GmbH + Co. KG. All questions, comments, or other inquiries regarding the competition must be directed exclusively to Canton Elektronik GmbH + Co. KG, Neugasse 21–23, 61276 Weilrod, Germany, email: marketing@canton.de. Facebook/Instagram is released from any claims arising in connection with this competition.

§2 Eligibility to Participate

Participation is open to any natural person aged 18 or older residing in the Federal Republic of Germany. Employees of Canton Elektronik GmbH + Co. KG and their relatives are excluded from participation. By entering, participants expressly agree to these terms and conditions. Each participant may enter only once and only in their own name.

§3 Competition Period

The competition takes place exclusively during two trade fair weekends:

• October 19–20, 2025
• November 8–9, 2025

Participation closes at 11:59 p.m. on the last day of each trade fair weekend. Entries received after the deadline will not be considered.

§3.1 How to Participate and Prize Details

1. Scan one of the QR codes provided at the trade fair.
2. Follow our official Facebook or Instagram channel.
3. Send us a direct message with the keyword “Streamer”.

Among all valid entries, one winner will be drawn at random. The prize is one Canton Smart Connect 5.1 – the control center for your sound system.

The winner will be notified within 14 days after the end of the respective trade fair weekend via email or direct message on the respective social media platform.

The winner must respond within 5 business days after notification and provide their contact details (name, address, email). If no response is received within this period, the claim to the prize expires and a new winner will be selected.

A cash payout or exchange of the prize is not possible. If the prize cannot be claimed, it will expire without substitution. Canton Elektronik GmbH + Co. KG reserves the right to change or terminate the competition at any time.

§4 Data Protection

Canton Elektronik GmbH + Co. KG collects, stores, and uses the personal data provided by participants (name, address, email address, and, if applicable, phone number) solely for the execution of the competition and to contact the winner. All personal data will be completely deleted after the competition has ended. Data will not be shared with third parties.

By participating, entrants consent to the processing of their personal data for the stated purposes. Participants may withdraw their consent at any time by sending an email to marketing@canton.de. Withdrawal of consent automatically results in exclusion from participation.

Further information on data protection can be found via the QR code provided at the trade fair or can be requested in printed form upon request.

§5 Miscellaneous

The participant releases Facebook and Instagram from any liability. Legal recourse is excluded. These terms and the entire legal relationship between participants and the organizer are subject exclusively to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Should individual provisions of these terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
