Vintage speaker
Timeless since 1980 - the models of the Ergo Series are committed to their history: the real wood speakers are now already in their seventh generation. Ergo Series
Highlights
In these classic hi-fi speakers, the organically shaped cabinet construction of high-quality, solid multi-layer laminate allows for a large interior volume. The wide baffle has a black metal grille that gives the real wood speaker its characteristic face. The aluminium grille picks up the curve of the speaker cabinet and provides the necessary protection for the speaker systems without affecting the sound. If desired, the grilles can be removed to reveal the technology. With the Ergo 690 DC and the Ergo 670 DC, the Ergo series offers floorstanding speakers for larger and smaller rooms. In combination with the Ergo 620 compact loudspeaker and the SUB 650 subwoofer, the series can easily be expanded into a home cinema system.

Timeless
Since 1980
The models of the Ergo series are committed to their history: the seventh generation of the real wood speakers is now available. The classic chassis arrangement has been retained to this day: The Ergo 690 DC floorstanding speaker has the tweeter and midrange systems on top and a massive bass with 2 x 200 mm woofers below. Thanks to the front-fire bass reflex system, placement close to the wall is no problem. No standing still: The Ergo Series is regularly updated with the latest Canton technologies and is thus always at the cutting edge of technology. One example is the triple-folded wave surrounds, which allow for balanced force symmetry in the inward and outward vibration behaviour.
Alluminium
Membrane
The cone systems of the Ergo Series are equipped with lightweight aluminium diaphragms and the latest generation of wave surround technology.
New
Connection Terminal
With the floor-standing speakers, the high and mid-range can be controlled separately from the low-frequency range by means of bi-wiring/biamping. 24-carat gold-plated, stable screw terminals ensure optimal signal transmission.
Ergo Loudspeakers – Timeless HiFi classics since 1980
The Ergo loudspeaker series has represented classic HiFi values, premium materials, and timeless sound since 1980. Now available in its seventh generation, these real-wood loudspeakers proudly embrace their heritage while continuously integrating modern technologies developed by :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1} .
Classic construction with an intelligent cabinet design
The organically shaped cabinet made from solid multi-layer laminate provides a large internal volume, forming the foundation for the powerful and balanced sound of the Ergo series. The wide front baffle is complemented by a black metal grille that gives the speaker its distinctive appearance.
The aluminum grille follows the curvature of the cabinet, protects the drivers effectively, and can be removed if desired – without affecting sound performance.
Proven driver layout combined with modern technology
The classic driver arrangement has been retained to this day: High- and midrange systems are positioned in the upper section, while powerful bass drivers handle the low frequencies in the lower cabinet area. The front-firing bass reflex system also allows placement close to walls.
The aluminum cone drivers feature the latest wave surround technology, ensuring balanced force distribution during in- and out-movement and delivering precise, controlled sound reproduction.
Flexible expansion for stereo and home cinema systems
With floorstanding speakers for different room sizes, matching compact speakers, a dedicated center channel, and a powerful subwoofer, the Ergo series can easily be expanded into a high-quality home cinema system.
New connection terminals with bi-wiring and bi-amping capability and gold-plated screw terminals ensure optimal signal transmission and maximum flexibility when configuring the system.
