HIGHLIGHTS OF THE GLE SERIES
The new GLE Series is equipped with our advanced, high-performance drivers, giving it a Canton-specific and confidently balanced sound.For the first time, the GLE Series uses premium drivers with titanium cones on the slim baffle. These woofers & midrange drivers are light, stiff and follow the acoustic signals very agilely - unique in this price class.
The tried-and-tested polycarbonate speaker baskets are equipped with the latest generation of stable wave surrounds. Powerful drives, perfectly tuned crossovers and the high-quality aluminium-manganese tweeter systems complete the technical setup for outstanding sound.
The visual distinguishing feature of our new GLE Series is the acoustically neutral fabric cover in an oval shape, which is magnetically attached to the matt lacquered baffle. If desired, it can be removed to reveal the technology. This, in combination with the matt lacquered speaker cabinet and optimally integrated speaker drivers, create an elegant and simple look.
Membrane Material
In the new GLE series, titanium is used as the membrane material in both the mid and low frequencies. The double-cone membranes in the bass range of the GLE 90 and GLE 80 also give the woofer more pressure and control. Visually, the continuous membrane surface sets a calm, elegant accent.
Magnetic oval fabric covering
The high-quality and acoustically neutral fabric covers in black hide the direct view of the technology if necessary and adhere elegantly to the baffles by means of magnetic fasteners. With the new appearance of the oval fabric covering, the GLE series nestles in any modern living room.
New speaker terminal
The high-quality gold-plated screw terminals with a receptacle for cable cross-sections of up to 10 mm² offer a high degree of conductivity and guarantee a long-term stable contact. The flush single-wiring connection terminal with high-quality components provides a uniform appearance.
Thanks to the wide variety of models and possible state-of-the-art components, the GLE speaker series offers suitable solutions for a wide range of requirements: space-saving on-wall speakers and a large selection of compact & floor-standing speakers deliver outstanding sound for stereo and home cinema enjoyment.
The home cinema set-up can be optimally expanded with the GLE 50 centre speaker and the matching Power Sub 8, Power Sub 10 & Power Sub 12 subwoofer models.
