HIGHLIGHTS OF THE CHRONO SERIES
The Chrono series is available in black or white, each in a combination of matt vinyl and high gloss lacquer. The screw-free, diamond-cut aluminium rings lend the Chrono series its striking looks. Robust and neutral fabric covers can be attached to cover the baffle if wished. The rear-fix cover fastening on the back of the loudspeaker is a practical highlight.
The Chrono series consists of three floorstanding loudspeakers and two compact loudspeakers and therefore offers the ideal model for any size of room. Compact on-wall loudspeakers enable space-saving installation on the wall. For fans of home cinema who want to use the Chrono series in 5.1 operation there is also a matching center loudspeaker.
Aluminium-manganese tweeter system
The tried and tested aluminium-manganese tweeter system transmits music signals up to 40,000 Hz. An aluminium transmission front plate acts as a wave surround and supports the dispersion characteristics of the system.
Screw-free, black rings
The Chrono series is equipped with exclusive, black rings. These increase the mechanical stability of the loudspeaker system, which is a particular advantage at high volumes.
Cabinet geometry
The revised cabinet styling of high density fibreboard with rear-facing bass reflex opening is rounded off with conical spacers and a modern socket construction.
In the woofer and midrange areas the Chrono series uses titanium cone membranes. The elegant and powerful chassis works with an elaborately crafted 18-db crossover network and the latest generation of wave surrounds to produce a convincing sound: They allow a far greater stroke rate and greatly reduced sound distortions – despite a higher possible sound pressure level. The woofer of the floorstanding Chrono 90 and Chrono 80 makes use of the new double-cone membrane with its continuous membrane.
The loudspeakers of the Chrono series are fitted with a single-wiring connection terminal. The silver-plated screw terminals accept cables of up to 10 mm in diameter, bring a high degree of conductivity and guarantee reliable long-term contact.
