The access data is analyzed exclusively for the purpose of ensuring the problem-free operation of our website and improving our offer. In the context of contract data processing on our behalf, a third party vendor provides us with the services required for hosting and displaying the website. In the context of a careful weighing of interests, this serves to safeguard our overriding and legitimate interest in ensuring that our offer is correctly presented. All data collected as part of your use of this website or in the forms provided in the online shop as described are processed on servers of this third-party provider. Processing on other servers only takes place as described herein. The service provider is located in a country of the European Union or of the European Economic Area.

We use the data provided by you in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b GDPR for contract execution and processing of your inquiries. If you have provided your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) s. 1 lit. a GDPR through your decision to open a customer account, we will use your data for the purpose of opening a customer account. After executing the contract in full or deleting your customer account, your data will be restricted from further processing and deleted at the end of the statutory retention periods under tax and commercial law, unless you have expressly consented to the further use of your data, or unless we reserve the right to use data for other purposes, provided that this is permitted by law and described in this privacy statement. Your customer account can be deleted at any time. This can be done by sending a message to the contact provided below or via a designated feature in the customer account.

3. Transfer of data

In order to execute the contract in accordance with Art. 6 (1) S. 1 lit. b GDPR, your data is forwarded to the shipping company commissioned with the delivery, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of the ordered goods. Depending on which payment services provider you select in the ordering process, we will forward the payment data collected to the bank commissioned with making the payment and any payment services providers commissioned by us to process the payments and/or to the selected payment service. In some cases, the selected payment services provider also collects this data if you create an account with them. In this case, you need to log in to the payment services provider during the ordering process using your access data. 5. Integration of the Trusted Shops trust badge

The Trusted Shops trust badge is integrated on this website to display our Trusted Shops seal of approval together with accumulated ratings. It serves to provide our customers with the option of purchasing Trusted Shops goods after they have placed their order.

This serves to safeguard our legitimate interests in optimum marketing, which prevails in the context of a careful weighing of interests, by enabling secure purchases in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. The trust badge and the associated advertised services are offered by Trusted Shops GmbH, Subbelrather Str. 15C, 50823 Cologne, Germany. The trust badge is provided by a CDN (Content-Delivery-Network) provider as part of contract processing. Trusted Shops GmbH also uses service providers located in the USA. An adequate level of data protection is ensured. For more information on the data privacy policy of Trusted Shops GmbH click here

When the trust badge is accessed, the web server automatically saves a so-called server log file, which also contains your IP address, the date and time of the access, the amount of data transferred and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the access. Individual access data is stored in a secure database for the purpose of analyzing security vulnerabilities. The log files are automatically deleted no later than 90 days after their creation.

Additional personal data is transferred to Trusted Shops GmbH if you decide to use Trusted Shops after completing an order or if you have already registered with them. The contractual agreements between you and Trusted Shops applies. An automatic collection of personal data from the order data is carried out for this purpose. Whether you as a buyer are already registered for product use is automatically verified using a neutral parameter—the e-mail address hashed using a one-directional encryption function. Prior to transmission, your e-mail address is converted to this hash value. It cannot be decrypted by Trusted Shops. After verifying for a match, the parameter is automatically deleted.

This is necessary for the fulfillment of our and Trusted Shops' justified legitimate interests in providing buyer protection linked to the specific order as well as transactional rating services consistent with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. For more details, including objections, see the Trusted Shops Privacy Policy (link above and in the trust badge).
