Connection options and functions

The C 500 Active Set works according to the master / slave principle. In this case, the master is the loudspeaker with the display in the front and the amplifier electronics and a Speakon socket on the back of the cabinet. The slave speaker is the speaker without an integrated display in the front and with a Speakon socket on the back of the cabinet. The master is the left speaker in your stereo setup, the slave the right speaker. In addition to 3 HDMI inputs (with 3D, 4K) and an HDMI output (with ARC), the C 500 active system has an optical digital input, a coaxial digital input and an analogue cinch input. If required, an external subwoofer can be operated via the Sub-Out output. The loudspeaker system can be controlled with its own remote control or with the remote control of your TV. All remote control functions of the C 500 Aktiv can be programmed to the remote control codes of the TV set in just a few steps. This means: two devices, one remote control.

Thanks to the Bluetooth® interface and the Easy Pairing function, the Active set also conquers the world of smartphones and tablet PCs. As a high-quality Bluetooth® loudspeaker, it ensures loss-free transmission via apt-X® technology.
